A few words about sealed batteries
Sealed system batteries are often referred to simply as gel batteries. In fact, not all closed types are GEL at the same time.
A common solution is to soak the electrolyte in fiberglass fabric and then place it between the lead sheets to stabilize it. This is called an AGM or Absorbed Glass Matt battery.
For a gel battery this is different, with the electrolyte inside being gelled by adding a special material. This will prevent the acid wobbling while the battery is moving or shaking.
