AC Chargers — Wall-Mounted and Portable Solutions
Wall-mounted chargers (Mode 3) are fixed-installation units with a Type 2 (IEC 62196) socket or integrated cable. Tethered wall-mounted EV chargers include a permanently attached cable — convenient for residential use. Untethered (socket-only) models are preferred for public and semi-public locations, as the user connects their own cable, reducing theft and vandalism risk. Power levels: 3.7 kW (single-phase, 1 × 16 A), 7.4 kW (single-phase, 1 × 32 A), 11 kW (three-phase, 3 × 16 A), and 22 kW (three-phase, 3 × 32 A). Most EVs have an 11 kW on-board charger (OBC), so a 22 kW wall charger does not charge them faster. The real value of 22 kW is versatility — it supports 3P 22 kW, 3P 11 kW, and 1P 7.4 kW. Many of our wall chargers include integrated DC 6 mA residual current protection per IEC 62955, eliminating the need for an external Type B RCD and saving EUR 200–400 per installation point.
Portable EV chargers (Mode 2) are not inherently limited in power. The factory-supplied Schuko cable delivers only 2.3 kW, but a portable charger with a CEE 32A three-phase connector reaches up to 22 kW — suitable as a home EV charger for travel or secondary locations. Fire safety note: Mode 2 charging is prohibited in many underground garages under European fire safety regulations; in such cases a Mode 3 wall charger is required.
DC Fast Chargers
Our DC fast chargers serve public charging networks, highway rest stops, commercial parking, hotels, and fuel station retrofits. In 2026, 50 kW is outdated for public EV charging stations — the standard is 150–240 kW for urban sites and 350–400 kW HPC for highway corridors.
