Electronic loads

Programmable Electronic loads

Electronic loads are devices that are capable of absorbing current according to various parameters. The type of absorption can typically be constant current, constant power, or constant resistance. Due to their operation, they can be used to test the capacity of batteries , or to perform cyclic measurements, such as sealed acid industrial lead-acid batteries or lithium cells. Of course, programmable electronic loads can be used at many other areas, including industrial and programmable power supplies.

Outstanding accuracy

In constant current mode, the electronic load draws exactly the current that is programmed, regardless of the voltage of the power source. In constant voltage mode, the load maintains a constant voltage between the output terminals of the device to be tested. Most electronic loads can be operated in both constant power and constant resistance modes.

Modern electronic loads already have high-precision measuring circuits, so no additional instruments are required to measure operating parameters.
