On-line UPS
Az On-line dual conversion uninterruptible power supplies, also known as VFI UPSs, are the most protective types. These uninterruptible power supplies are suitable for all applications: industrial, telecommunications, IT or data center.

When do I need an on-line uninterruptible power supply?
- If the device is very sensitive and even a very short network outage or minimal network disruption can lead to downtime, data loss, or failure.
- If the system's power is greater than 10 ÷ 20kVA.
Why are these online UPSs less reliable?
Online uninterruptible components (semiconductors, capacitors, etc.) are subject to constant load and high temperatures, which negatively affects their service life. Of course, it's also a matter of scaling, a thoughtfully designed and well-built on-line uninterruptible power supply can be more reliable than a poor quality VFD UPS.
